To all my dearest friends at Maliba Lodge,
It is difficult to find the words to express my gratitude for all that you have done for me over the past 3 weeks, Everyone of you has gone out of your way, not only to make me feel welcome but also to make me feel a part of the Maliba family.
Your warm smiles, friends ‘Hellos’, exemplary service and willingness to do anything asked of you made my stay memorable.
Thank you for the delicious meals (Including our packed lunches with we opened each day with great anticipation and surprise), for doing our washing and cleaning, for the great gin&tonics, the horse ride, the many cups of tea served to us, the help with our Sesotho, the many chats we had at the bar – and a special thank you to Daniel for allowing us to visit his village and home.
I will take home many fond memories of the time I spent in this very special part of the world and I will never forget the very special group of people here who so graciously looked after me and provided a “home” in Lesotho for me.
I wish each and every one of you all the very best and for now I say farewell. I hope to be back one day.
