Lesotho Ultra is an annual event held in Lesotho is a 50km/38km trail run through the Maluti Mountain Range in Lesotho. It is hosted at
Maliba Mountain Lodge, Lesotho’s only 5* lodge and located in a pristine National Park, participants experience a piece of Lesotho’s soul.

The Kingdom of Lesotho welcomed our runners with bright blue skies and warm conditions. There was a great vibe at Maliba Lodge with registration and race briefing reminding participants of the great adventure that lies ahead of them.
Good luck out there, there is 50km/38km between you and the finish line. Go out and soak in the moments on the scenic trails. Views don’t get better than those you will experience tomorrow.
The 2018 of Lesotho Ultra is summed up below:
At 5.30am, 150 runners crossed the start line as they set off on their 50km/38km journey through the Maluti Mountains within the beautiful Tsehlanyane National Park.
The sun rose to reveal moody, misty skies, but the sun soon burned away the clouds and runners experienced warm, dry conditions throughout the day.
These spectacular images capture the highs and lows of #LesothoUltra2018, but ultimately showcase the strength of the mind and what our bodies are capable of when pushed to the limit.
Well done to each and every runner. You tackled a tough trail and came out victorious.
